Officials with IU Health gave an update as the project reaches 25% completion. This landmark project will re-invent how patient care, education and research are delivered and integrated. The project is on schedule and on budget with an anticipated opening in late 2027.

As construction on the new hospital and expanded downtown medical campus moves forward, IU Health’s board of directors has updated the scope and cost of the project. IU Health’s board believes the larger capacity is needed to meet forecasted inpatient demand, including for a growing caseload of sicker patients.

As of August 23, 2021 the only roles that remain to be filled on the project team are: – Art Selection & Procurement– Signage, Branding & Graphics CURIS will continue to work with IUH to fill these roles when appropriate. Timing will be based on the overall needs of the project.
